Does anyone know the height of the output hose on this from the ground (= I assume minimum pool height)? Is it necessary to cover the upper hole (input from pump to pool)? Thanks!

Welcome to TFP

The water height is about 44 inches, you will install the pump return to the upper through wall hole and the 2 lower holes are for the suction side

If you want lower height (small kids?), you can easily cut new holes.

Someone once made an attachment out of pvc to draw water further from down. I'll research a little later (on my phone right now) and see if I can find it.
