Hi all. I'm getting ready to set up a new pool, intex 18'x48" round. My brother dragged a spot clear with his tractor but it's still not level. My question is, should I put down something like crushed gravel or sand (or both) and level it before setting up the pool? Thanks.

Most dig down but you can use rock and sand to build up, I used crushed rock and sand, you need to be within 1 inch of level.. here is a pic of what I did

sure is it has worked great, the bottom is very soft and no feet marks..
