help ! aquabot has new belts, won't move

after replacing the drive belts on my aquabot, it wont move at all.
(actually, it will crawl on the wall a little, but once it hits the bottom, it cant move)

it seems that the brand new belts are not tight enough ??

could the cause be stretched drive tracks ? (they haven't been replaced in a couple of years )

Are you sure that you replaced the belts properly? Could be the motor if you think everything else is good. Do you hear the motor engage? Do you see the sprockets trying to turn?

thanks for the reply.
the belts sure look like they're correct (thats why i included the photo)
the motor is engaged. the center sprocket is turning

There is also a button on the left to click for troubleshooting aquabot problems.

My aquabot broke a couple years ago, so I can't look at it any more. The drive motor broke, and for the replacement cost, I couldn't justify repairing it.

But, from what I remember, one of your bushings might be backwards. The bushings are the white things in middle of the drive belts, that create tension in the belts. I think one should be opposite of the other, and they look like the are both in the same direction in the picture.

Hi,
It looks like the bushes are the correct way around from the photo. May be check that the rollers are fitted into the side plates correctly. If the pink belts are slack then there is obviously something not fitted correctly.

Check to make sure pulley assembly is not worn down causing to much slack in the belts.
