Plumbing leak saga continues

Okay - I had leak in a skimmer line and its been fixed, but imagine my disappointment when I found the other skimmer has a developed an air leak where the pipe meets the skimmer. Note I am using a water resistant USB camera/endoscope to locate the leaks.

All that said the pool is an old (80's) anthony pool with flex piping going to the skimmer. What do I have to expect when tackling this repair? My concern arises from it looks like there is a separate pad (approx. 2'x2') poured for the skimmer

if it is a separate pad already that probably means it has been repaired before, most are part of the whole pad.. this will make it easier to take out just that piece and repair the skimmer.. I am not sure just how easy it will be though, that is a big job..
