New pool owner. We bought this house with a liner inground 15,000 gallon pool and we've gotten the water tested and balanced. Water is perfect. However there is this greenish brown stain on the right side that goes from one end to the other. I've tried rubbing it off, it isn't algae. It's only on one side which is weird. Any suggestions? Can I upload a picture here? Not sure how to do it.

Hi, welcome to TFP! You can upload a picture from your computer. In the quick reply box there is an icon that looks like a tree in a frame. Click on it and follow the directions to upload a picture. If you need to post more than a couple of pictures it is best to use a photo hosting site such as photobucket. They are free and once you have uploaded your picture there you can copy the link to your posts.
It is possible there was a tannin stain from organic debris that was in the pool, but without seeing a picture it would be hard to tell. Do you know if there are metals in your water?

Try rubbing a Vit C tablet on the stain for 3-5 minutes to see if it lightens the stain. If not, then hold a trichlor puck against the stain for a few minutes.
