Polaris 280 stops periodically

Hello,

We just recently had a pool installed. And we just placed the Polaris 280 pool cleaner into operation. The cleaner works for a good bit than just stops for a minute or so then starts moving again. Has anyone had this problem? Or can suggest a fix for this?

It should stop every five minutes and back up or otherwise change direction. That's how its designed so it doesn't get stuck. Is that what you are observing?
