Hello all. Opening our pool today, I noticed last fall our pool service must have over-tightened the eyelet plugs damaging them. Am I ok turning the pump on to get the pool opened, or do I need to get this repaired first? Can you tell from just images?

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

JamesW, thanks for the quick reply. Understood, I need to replace that broken part.

I was wondering if I could proceed with the pool opening or do I need to render the repair first? Do I need to be concerned with water getting beind the liner, etc?

If that's just cosmetic, I'll go ahead with the pool opening. If not, I'll throw the safety cover back on until my pool service can come over.
