My pool is in S. Florida and was refinished 30 days ago with Florida Gem sky blue. My pool is 15' x 30' and 7' in the deep end. I have brushed it just about every day since it was filled and it looks great. The pool is 24 years old. I had a new skimmer, new Hayward filter and Hayward salt chlorinater installed. To date only chlorine and acid has been applied. The PH has been maintained and has not gone beyond 8.0. I have been very diligent.
My question is; How long do I need to wait to use the salt system and when can I add alkalinity and other required chemicals?
