    Pool heater

    Can I use a 20 pound propane tank for a raypack 105,000 btu . The installation book says caution do not use 5,10,20 gallon propane tank why?

    Welcome to TFP

    I will not have the volume needed to supply the amount of gas to your heater and it would probably be empty in about 5 minutes... the smallest I have seen on this site was a 300 gallon, I am sure someone has used smaller but I am not sure...

    the manual says to use 1/2 steel pipe for connection with manual shutoff valve
