Aquabug hookup to Intex Ultra Frame Pool

Hi All,

We have an Intex Ultra Frame 18' x 4' pool. We have the Hayward Aquabug pool vac and we cannot figure out the best way to attach it so it hold suction. Do we need to hook it up directly to the filter or is there an attachment that we can screw onto the threaded circle part that is inside the pool? I attached a picture of the part I am talking about. PLEASE HELP! Thank you
