Hello all!
I will need to replace my inground ladder this year. I see most ladders are 24 inches and there are a few 20 inch. My current one measures 20 inches on center so I assumed I needed a 20 inch.(the ladder is not in at the moment so I have very accurate center socket measurement). Measured at the top of the rail it is 21 inches end to end outer diameter. Then I saw one site selling a 24 inch but it says it uses sockets that are 20 inch on center so now I am very confused! Can Anyone advise me on the proper width of the ladders I can buy?
Thanks so much.
Edit: Did I just answer my own question? Measuring the ladder from outer edge of socket straight out to the outer edge of ladder is 24 inches. In other words, from front to back. Is that what is being referenced in the ladder descriptions?
