New ABP Filter Advice

I have a 24ft round ABP with an aging Hayward EC40/1 HP Power Flo LX fiter/pump. I've been looking at cartridge filters for their ease of cleaning and landed on two models. Hoping to get some advice on either of these or if there is some other alternative. I couldnt find much on these models in the forum. Also note i have a massive early season bird problem so i vacuum tons of bird $*%t daily until mid June which calls for frequent cleaning of my current filter. looking to make that process easier hence the cartridge.

If you have been backwashing with your DE filter I have to warn you a cartridge filter may drive you crazzzzy.. I love mine but it is huge at 320 sq ft, the 100 sq ft filter your looking at will fill up very fast and you will have to empty it a lot and that means taking it out and spraying the cart for about an hour job...

so, is there anything wrong with your DE filter? if not I recommend staying with that and replacing your pump with a 2 speed, it will save you money

if your DE filter is shot and really want a cart filter get at least a 300 sq ft or above
