PH spike???

So all I have added over the last 2 weeks was bleach... and slowly the numbers of PH have gone from 7.2 to 7.8.

I have a slide and a little water runs off of it, the waterfall effect...?

FC is at 9
TC 9
ALK- 220
CYA 85 ish
PH 7.8

Any aeration, including water going down your slide, will increase pH. With your TA (Alk) at 220, you are going to have swings like that. If you got it down to around 80, these swings would be reduced.

Ok. figured as much...

working on getting everything down... takes time with a well... not sure how you know when it will run out of water... seems like it never will...

Lower your pH to 7.0-7.2 with muriatic acid. Keep the water going down the slide for aeration. When pH gets to 7.8, repeat.
