I am going to hook up my liquidator this weekend and have a question. Our pool had a chlorinator once (before we bought the house). It was taken off for whatever reason and the black hose was put on at that point. Can I just hook the liquidator up where the chlorinator once was?

That is what I thought but I wanted to ask the experts on here before I drilled new holes into my plumbing. You guys have never failed me! So would you just leave the black hose intact?

It is the pipe for the return to the pool jets...i think
That's what it looks like to me, too.

If you seal off the top connection of that black hose, you can then connect that hose to the "inflow" float valve on the liquidator. Then hook up the outflow into the bottom of the pump strainer basket where the drain plug is located.

That would keep your installation a little neater by eliminating a couple of hoses.
