    Streaky pool walls

    Hi All,

This started last year. The walls of my pool are streaked kind off brownish. Not the floor though. I tried scrubbing them and the chlorine, stop yellow routine but it didn't work. What causes this and what can I do about it?

Winter Park FL, 10,000 gallons, surfaced with marbeletite 5 years ago, 1.5 hp filter and DE Filter.

Sounds like metal stains. To be sure, try rubbing it with a vitamin C tablet. It comes off like magic if it is metal staining.
