AquaComfort salt gen

Hello all
My cell is quite dark and after adding 10 bags of salt I'm only getting 20% readout on the salt generator. I will try to clean it with vinager but thinking maybe it's going bad. It's an AquaComfort AC- 400 I believe purchased in 08 or 09. Question is... Is there a replacement cell I could use because I think AquaComfort is out of the salt cell business

Why vinegar? The correct way to do it would be with a diluted acid mixture.

Some posters say white vinager works but if not I'll use the acid. Really think I need a new cell however. Will be hard to find an exact replacement

Well I did both. No change. Still initially goes to 30% then back to 20%. I'll do a salt level check in morning but I know it should have what it needs
