Will I still brush/vacuum with a robot ?

This is probably not a very smart question, but one I have not been able to figure out. If I get a robotic cleaner (Aquabot) would I still have to vacuum and brush the pool? The way things are now (and May is the worst month here when it comes to pool maintenance) I am vacuuming almost daily and brushing every day (some times twice).

A good wall climbing robotic cleaner takes care of both brushing and vacuuming for you. If you have been vacuuming every day, you may need to run the robot every day to keep things as clean as you want. And with a robot you still have some chores, putting it in the water and taking it out, as well as cleaning the debris bag.

I used to use a Kreepy Krauler and it did a good job climbing walls and doing the scrub/vac.

Not the most sophisticated or quick tool, but effective.
