Quick question. I am going to start the SLAM procedure within the next 2 days but need to replace some of my water as my CYA is at 80. I understand how much water I need to replace by checking the pool school calculator.
I have a floater value which regulates the addition of water. In order to shut this off I need to shut off the water valve. Is the picture below my shutoff valve for the water?
Once I have replaced the correct gallons of water and gotten my CYA level to around 40-50 I will then refill and start the SLAM procedure.
