Need new brush

Seems every nylon brush I have falls apart and the nylon ends up in the pool....
What is the best type of pool brush that won't fall apart?

(I did see some older posts but nothing newly posted on pool brushes)

You can get a mixed stainless/nylon brush ... but eventually the nylon is always going to fall out.

I recommend the Wall Whale (not the XL) which is all nylon.

I have a wall whale too and love it for the walls. For the floors and steps, I just bought a new one at the pool store that supposedly has UV protection in the bristles. So far so good.

The wall whale has lasted a couple of years, but the generic nylon brushes usually only lasts me one season. My stainless steel algae brush has lasted many years.

thanks. I don't have a stainless steel brush at all. Can you even use one on gunite? what is benefit of stainless steel over nylon?

Stainless just is firmer. I would not use one often of plaster unless the plaster was old.

Inyopools will price match if you find a better deal, just mention TFP.

Plaster/concrete and similar I'd go with stainless steel last and last. Check amazon. Have seen good rates there. It's where I got mine. If you ever get black algae you'll need stainless steel.

Nobody seems to have this in stock even amazon says 1-2 months. I'm guessing I should get the 50/50 which is $70 and sounds expensive for a brush head.....
manufacturer site has them but s&h is price and it will end up $65....

I have this brush and it is great, not too big of a tail for too much resistance.

Had this whale wall a few weeks, love it but it's only been used a few times and I'm finding the nylon bristles are coming out after each use like 4-5 bristles every time, maybe more if they are falling out in pool....
anyone else have this issue?

I would contact the manufacturer. This is my second year on my current wall whale and it hasn't started to fall apart yet.
