Need a new pump. Are there any guidelines here?

Current pump STA-RITE XL-VII "MODERNIZER" PUMP 1 Hp. Bearing is going out of the motor and the pump has been rebuilt several times.

We are open to suggestions. We would like something we could set to run at intervals.

This is great option for your pool if you are looking to upgrade to a variable speed pump. It has a built in time clock with 4 programmable speeds and is very energy efficient. Here are a couple of good places to buy it.
