Anyone have this filter on an intex

Wondering if this filter will work with a 16x48 intex? Would I only need the hose adapters that can be found on amazon?

Jeff, what parts did you use to make the extra port for the robot and footwash setup? I know about using the conduit parts to make a pvc connection but it appears you have just screwed the intex hose onto pvc threads without any modifications.

The Intex hoses will screw directly onto a 2" male PVC fitting. But the threads are slightly different so the collar gets tight before you can screw it down enough to prevent leakage. But if you insert two 2.25 x 1/8" rubber washers, it will work without leaking.



It was only able to find 2 3/8" diameter washers at my hardware store. They work, but you have to jam them into the Intex collars and they don't lay flat. I think 2.25" would be a perfect fit.
