New home, plaster pool (7 years old). Chemicals are all good (7.4, FC7, CC0, alk110, CH310). There are these stains all over the entire pool, noticed them from the opening. Pool is crystal. Put a small piece of chlorine tablet for 15 minutes. No change. So could be calcium scale or a messed up initial plaster from the build, right? The pool feels rough, some sides are very rough (coming from a vinyl pool, miss my smooth liner [emoji30]). I can't sand the entire pool, can I? Will sanding with ? 300 grit make it more smooth either way? I could at least do the spa. Ideas? Thanks!!

Getting a quote for acid wash and polish. Any know, that a good idea? Will it make it nice and smooth? I sanded the spa and it works mostly making it more smooth (the discoleration is still there), but sanding the entire pool would take a very long time
