    Is it ok to leave solar cover on during SLAM?

    Are there any pros or cons to leaving cover on or taking it off?
    thanks?
    - 30,000 gallon (16'x40' - 10' at deep end) gunite
    - Sta-Rite DE 60 sq/ft filter
    - AquaCal Heatpump (broken...)
    - new to pools and 110% clueless!

    Take it off. The pool needs to breath and the UV is necessary for helping eliminate CC's

    There is no advantage to leaving it on.

    thanks! Probably should have asked that question about 12 hours ago but...whoops.
