    Introduction

We became first time pool owners in late July 2012 at the beginning of my retirement. Used pool stores for information the first couple of years
and became very confused by conflicting recommendations. Discovered this site and have been following your system. Pool has been sparkling and clear ever since. This site has awesome information! I need help now with replacing a spider gasket so I will be posting my first question.

I know of at least 15 folks here who have replaced spider gaskets. We'll all help!

Well, since nobody else has made the pitch.... you could show your gratitude via a free-will love --- oops, I mean by becoming a supporter

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!
