We have a 24 foot above ground pool with Hayward Swim Pro SW1000z4 pool filter and use a cc1500 cartridge filter that continues to break. The center cracks and separates from housing and straps holding paper pleats break. We have asked at numerous pool stores, no answer. We have model no. Sw15851x20tl motor. Pressure gage shows just about 20 psi. Never had this issue in past, thought it was filters but just bought different filter and have used new filter for about 8 hours and already cracked housing on filter. What could be possible causes? Pool does not filter properly and water becomes cloudy and dirty. Very expensive problem. Any help would be very appreciated.

I have a Hayward single cartridge filter system and can't imagine my pressure getting that high. Might be good to know a bit more info so we can try to help:
1 - Please list all of your pool equipment info in your signature. It will help everyone who reviews your post. Pool School - Read This BEFORE You Post
2 - Please post a full set of test results with your TF-100 or Taylor K-2006 test kit. Sometimes, we find a chemical pattern that can be responsible for some odd filtration behavior.
