Hi everyone,
Every time I've "Googled" a pool question this site comes up and I end up spending hours reading your threads and viewing your amazing pools. I figured at this point I may as well join in the fun. I'm sure once we have water we will have tons of questions as this is our first ever pool and we (well at least I) am feeling a bit overwhelmed at this point.
Although my husband is in the construction industry he has been in and out of town for about a year so we decided against O/B. We signed our contract with a pool builder we did work with about 16 years ago on March 24th and after the 3 day back out period plans were sent to engineering, permits were underway, and HOA requests were made.
Grading and digging began on April 18th, followed by plumbing, steel and electrical in the weeks since. We passed inspection on our first shot Wednesday morning and at 6 a.m. today the shotcrete and waterfall crews came rolling up.
We are very relieved to be able fill in some trenches and begin to get things put back together somewhat at this point! So is our HOA btw. We keep getting notices for the boat in the driveway. haha
