Just filled pool, green tinted water

So, I'm guessing metals from the tap? Iron, copper?

The water is crystal clear, it's just greenish. If it helps, we also just repainted the pool (epoxy).

We don't have the pump or any chemicals in just yet, literally just filled it. Will the color clear up with filtration or do we need to use something to bring the metals out of suspension?

it really depends.. is this a well? have you had metals before..

get the pump and filter going, get some chlorine in there and balance the water and see where you are in 48 hours...

Sounds like iron in the water from a well fill.....was that your source?
