Matty, any chance you might have test results from a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006 you could provide? Also, can you clarify ... are you just re-opening your pool from winter, or has it been open year-round?

One last thing ... please add your pool info to your signature by going to the top of the TFP web page (just under the Pool School button) and select "SETTINGS". On the next page look to the left for a menu bar that says, “MY SETTINGS” and go to "EDIT SIGNATURE" to enter your pool and equipment info there. It will help us later. This link may also help you: Pool School - Read This BEFORE You Post. Thanks!

Well, we still can't see your readings, so if you can post those it would help us. But often times cloudy water is indicative of algae. With algae, you'll find that FC diminishes quickly, and perhaps your filter clogs-up a little sooner than normal. If it is algae, then a "SLAM" (link below) is in order. The test results would help us with that. But they have to be from one of those reliable test kits.

According to the diagnostics the cell is working fine.

You need to complete the SLAM process until the pool meets all 3 criteria for performing a SLAM.

See the SLAM link in mine or Texas Splash's signature.
