    safety suction screen needed

I have a 1 1/2" female bulkhead fitting that is unguarded.

I was trying to located a screen cover that would thread into it.

it is near the bottom on the sidewall.

Not sure what size this is, but you could call them. GRAINGER APPROVED Suction Fitting - Pool and Spa Fittings - 2ZTT22ZTT2 - Grainger Industrial Supply

Worse case you could buy an internal plug and drill or router some slots in it?

First is determine the g.p.m. at the point of suction, then find the appropriately rated suction cover. Aquastar makes some hockeypuck style covers that should work.
