Does dried out algae come back to life?

Pool empty and I'm cleaning it. Wondering if once it has been dried by the sun will it come back to life if you add water? Just curious if I miss a spot when brushing.

Yes, unless you kill the Algae spores, it will come back. You should power wash it while its empty. Power washing and draining the wash down will get the most spores out.
