    Does the Hayward Superpump Motor usually run hot, to the touch

    Just curious or do I have something wrong???

    Most motors are usually pretty warm I think. Can you leave your hand on it? Is it making more noise that usual?

    Noise and heat are usually due to bearing going bad.
