Uncovered and opened. Didnt know what to expect since this was the first time it was left up over the winter. Previous years it was taken down and put back up. What a pain. Last season decided to cover for the winter. Bought a winter cover and air pillow kit on ebay. Shocked and vacuumed. Drained and covered. Drained just below intake port. Drained and disassembled pump and filter for storage. Hoses and valves were stored aswell. Left the strainer and eyeball on outlet so nothing could crawl in. This winter we saw the most snow in a single snowstorm of 28in. However it wasnt as cold as other winters. Im in central maryland btw.
So what does it look like?
This is what it looked like just before the 2 gallons of swamp sludge from the top of the cover slid into the pool.
Scooped most of the big stuff out and vacuumed the rest this morning. Installed that skimmer and did some hard plumbing yesterday aswell.
