Morning TFPers!
Just cleaned the pool filters yesterday. Now, nice and clean. Sucks to use that water to clean them off, but it is a necessary evil. Always nice and comforting to re-install clean, white filters. I average about 2x per year. Prior to or at the beginning of the season, and at the end.
Anyhow, my post is about the use of Magic Lube. I used some on the o-ring/gasket for my drain plug on my filter housing, and also on the large gasket that goes under the filter lid/top section, and also on the gasket for the strainer cover. My question may seem silly, but any question is open for discussion. How often do I lubricate the strainer cover gasket (or the other ones as noted)? Regarding the strainer cover gasket, would I lube that one each time I remove the lid to clean the strainer basket?
Thanks.
