I'm replacing my old pump ans sand filter with a new setup. Then it dawned on me that I had no idea how to dispose of the filter. I assume the sand has to be removed (best way) and the filter needs to be cut up or will someone take it Whole???

Thanks for your help

Around here junkers take anything from the curb.

Try selling on ebay or craigslist unless its ancient/broken? I've seen adds for "free swimming pool - you remove it". LOL

best way on the sand is a shop vac but you're gonna need to find a place to dump it...
