New Pool w/ Pentair equipment and the mobile device app doesn't change lights

We are stumped that our Pentair mobile app shows all these controls for the LED lights including different color scheme settings light Romance, Party, Caribbean, etc. However no matter what we select, nothing changes. When we select the solid color squares and select set or save, nothing still happens. What are we doing wrong? :confused::confused::confused:
 
I believe the lights are not connected to a relay in the control panel and then the relay needs to be assigned to a circuit - Intellebrite.

The default software will show you the lights and settings, but only the relay will trigger the lights to come on and off.

And for the lights its an on/off sequence that sets the colors.
