    Newly filled pool, what is the best way to get stablizer up?

    Put it in a sock and hang in front of a return is the preferred method. If you are running the pump 24/7, you can also put in a sock then put in your skimmer. This is the one time I'll say it's OK to stick something in the skimmer.
