Thought I was being a smart cookie and had water trucked in instead of using my well water (which I know has high iron content). Turns out the trucked in water must have iron in it also because the water has a nice green tint to it. Is there anything I can do to help remedy the situation? The water guy said he would come over, add some chemicals, and vacuum up the waste. Is he just blowing smoke? I am currently recirculating the water through a large metal trap filter. Thanks for any thoughts.

That green tint could be be algae or pond water tint. SLAM it and see what happens. Pool School - SLAM - Shock Level And Maintain
