Manually chlorinated pools CYA level

"Recommended" is in one.....the other is saying that if you do go to 60-here's the levels of FC for that. WHERE you are is mainly a function of heat and length of season. There are many other factors that determine what may be best for your particular pool.

The 60 in the FC/CYA chart for non-SWG does not have an *.

But there is no point in worrying about it. It really does not matter what CYA you set as long as your FC level is maintained at the correct relative level.

smackdab, just to clarify ... are you questioning the difference between the two references because the Chlorine/CYA Chart doesn't have an asterisk next to the CYA of 60?

Yes. It does not have an *, so it is saying 60 is recommended while the other page is conflicting with it saying 30-50 is recommended.

Just thought I would bring it up so someone could update/clarify one page or the other. At least now they can't say they didn't know about it, right.
