Pool Blaster Catfish Ultra Plus Pole

I bought this to replace a Pool Blaster Max. It comes with a pole which is not convenient for us. Our two universal poles fit the Catfish but the fit is so tight that it is a real pain getting the pole off. They worked perfectly with our Pool Blaster Max. Is there a pool pole that has a slightly larger inner diameter or some trick to make removing the pole easier?

How about taking some sandpaper to the pool blaster and reduce the diameter a few thousandths of an inch?

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!

That's a great idea. The thing that really makes it hard to remove is the tight fit, especially the two plastic knobs that are pushed in and then go into the holes in the pole. Will try the sandpaper tomorrow.
