    During Slamming of Pool do I need to lower at least 3-4 inches water to drain?

    During the process of Slamming. Should I 'throw' or lower the water levels at least 3-4 inches?
    16 x 32 (3, 5, 11)
    23-24,000 volume
    Liner Pool

    Lowering the water is not a prerequisite for performing the SLAM (link below).
