    Adding CYA with automatic cover

    I think I'm close to being ready to add stabilizer to my pool after a rough opening. I have read about the sock method, but I'm not sure how to do this if we have an automatic cover. We don't want to leave it open.

    Any advice?
    20x36' in-ground vinyl pool. 25.5K Gallons. Sta-Rite Sand Filter. Pentair Ultratemp Heat Pump. Pentair IntelliFlo variable speed pump. Tri-Chlor Feeder. Automatic Cover. Taylor K-2600 test kit. Pool owner since 2013.
