Hi All –
Last year I didn’t do a very good job keeping my PH up and there was some corrosion in my heater exchange where the copper levels were high in my pool. I bypassed the heater with the plumbing, drained and refilled and took care of the copper issue.
As we head into the new swim season, my question is, the heater exchange wasn’t leaking or anything like that last year, so can I hook the plumbing back to the heater or will I run into the same problem with the copper because of whatever corrosion happened?
Or would you suggest just changing out the heater exchange to be on the safe side?
How do I tell if the heater exchange is still good to use?
Thanks a lot for any feedback.
