Will Overflow kill grass & plants

My PB installed a overflow that opens out into what will be a landscape area and then it will drain off into a low land area and as it drains will pass through the plants and st. augustine grass.

Will the salt / chlorine water kill the plants and grass?

If so, I guess I have some work to do to run a drain pipe about 30-40 feet into the low land area.

With the amount of rain you get, very doubtful it will be a problem.

Less likely in FL with all the rain you get, but over time the salt may build up enough to harm the turf/plants, but the Chlorine won't hurt anything at all.
