Liquidator installed next to heat pump

Does anyone see any possible corrosion issues with placing the liquidator next to the heat pump? I would think the dilution would keep the fumes down.

And if it is outside there is plenty of fresh air too.

The chlorine and water actually stay "layered" in the liquidator. The chlorine stays on the bottom and there is seldom any noticeable smell. That said, I would think a foot or more away would be smart even if not really needed.

Re: Liquidator installed next to heat pump

Well, I got my answer to this question in a weird way. Went to turn the heater on and realized the hp power disconnect was disconnected when winterized. Just so happens I installed the liquidator right in front of it thinking I would just use the breaker in the panel. Well you live and learn, drain the liquidator, and move the liquidator. Now it's buried a foot in the ground with shorter tubing runs. Like this set up better.
