2 Lights for sure. I wish I had two on my 29' pool.
Get a robot or plan to get one. I am just now getting my suction side setup and it is a pain. Wish I put the $ toward a robot.
I would not like the step down into the pool like it is now. I would do the step down earlier so that your line of sight is not impacted to the pool.
Variable speed pump all the way.
Look into SWG.
I would also consider pebble type finish. Might push the cost up too much but it should be considered.

Love everyone's input. Please keep it coming. I would love to go with an pebble option but I don't think the budget is there for it. Looking into the variable speed pump now. Getting another bid also. Not yet have I talked to a builder who wanted to do sw.
