Hello all, just wanted to share my resurfacing from plaster to Stonescape Mini Pebble. I'll also be replacing the tile and upgrading to LED lights here in SoCal, keeping the current coping though.

Demo guys came by this morning and finished in about 4 hours. Now tile and mini pebble next. Looking good so far. Should be done in about two weeks. I'm looking at Aqua White and Aqua Blue right now and staying away from the green tints so I'll be deciding in a few days here after browsing TFP pics.

Thanks for the tips and compliments. We've narrowed it down to these samples so far. I'm leaning towards the one with the blue tint in it. As much as I like blue shades, I was thinking of calcium and other stains in the long run and leaning towards browns and greys.

I wish we had more contrast between our tile and coping. I'd recommend the ones with more contrast versus less.

So I ended up going with the bluefish tile which is actually called Seregetti Manyara. It was installed today, I'll post pics tomm morning when sun is out. I like it and I also received my TFT kit today. It was a lot bigger than I expected but that's okay. I went with the magnetic stirrer as well.

We were on a brief hiatus and are now back home. Pool company came over yesterday and began the mini pebble in Aqua White install yesterday. Took them about five hours and left it empty overnight. I asked about that and they assured me it would be filled up the following day after they acid washed it. They are here now doing just that and it is looking like it's going well. As confidant as I am with TFP guiding me j am more inclined to hire a pool guy for a month or so to get things started with the pool and I was thinking of taking it from there. Not sure yet I just need some pebble maintenance help I guess for the first few days. I'll keep browsing here today and compile all the info. I'll post pics of what it looks like after they are done acid washing it. https://vimeo.com/166634203

That color is going to be really pretty! Love that last picture of the pup at the end of the video, lol! Those time lapse videos are so neat. Hubby is hooking cameras up this weekend so I'm hopeful we'll be able to do the same thing.
