Has anyone found a brick and mortar store that carries one of the suggested kits? I have been to a few and all I'm finding are the dip strips and 2 or 4 way kits.

Sometimes Leslie's will have refills and they have a kit that they say is the same as the K-2006 but it is not.
Unfortunately, the only way to get the kits is online either through Amazon (K-2006) or TFTestkits.net (TF-100). You can buy online from Taylor too but they are more expensive.

TFTestkits has really quick shipping. You could probably get one from them in less time than you will spend searching.

You can occasionally find the k-2006 in pool shops, but they are sometimes rebranded and if you haven't seen one before or they won't let you open it to inspect then it is difficult to tell if it is a rebranded k-2006 or k-2005. You also have to be careful as most people in a pool store aren't looking for a $60 test kit so they might have been there for a while.

Yea Leslie's is stupid expensive for most stuff, although in store prices are sometimes different than online.

Yeah, you can get the K-2006 through Amato Industries via Amazon for cheaper than that. Most pool stores are going to up-charge those kits steeply AND they could be really old.
