I think the blower was Original with the pool - 2000
I failed to notice the cap was cracked and water got in
the "filter" material had all broken down as well - turned to dust when you touch it
I know some here think the blower is a patch for poor plumbing
but even with 2 vs pumps the spa wasn't very spa like so I purchased a replacement
1.5 hp 220 volt Polaris blower - I picked the QT model
the install took maybe 15 min and the noise difference is impressive
much quieter and makes a difference to the appearance of the spa
The neighbors will really appreciate it
