Spa blower cap cracked and blower failed - replacement easy and quieter

I think the blower was Original with the pool - 2000
I failed to notice the cap was cracked and water got in
the "filter" material had all broken down as well - turned to dust when you touch it

I know some here think the blower is a patch for poor plumbing
but even with 2 vs pumps the spa wasn't very spa like so I purchased a replacement
1.5 hp 220 volt Polaris blower - I picked the QT model
the install took maybe 15 min and the noise difference is impressive
much quieter and makes a difference to the appearance of the spa

The neighbors will really appreciate it
Doug - Purchased 1/2016, 1995 house with 16x31 ft, ~23000 gallon Gunite pool w 11x7 spa, 3 Pentair VS pumps, a boost pump for polaris 3900 and a BaduŽ Jet super-sport swim jet pump, 1.5 hp blower, a CL460 Cartridge filter. TF-100 test kit. Aquapure SWG, iAqualink - Lots to learn. New Aquabright, Jandy LEDs, CMP LED Sheers.
