PDA not showing pool/spa temp, Jandy heater not working

Hi, my Jandy PDA is showing only air temp but not showing Pool/Spa temp, instead is showing -- two dashes. The Jandy LXi 400 heater shows both air and pool/spa temp but the heater will not turn on. I replaced the temp sensor that's attached to the heater (Zodiac R0456500) but still having the same problem.

I've had the pool for eight years and I've replaced the temp sensor about 3 years ago (temp was off but no --) but the fix is not working this time. Can anyone help???
 
I'm having the same problem. I also replaced the temperature sensor with the same model Zodiac R045600 but the problem persists.
If I disable the TSTAT remote on the heater itself it works fine manually.
I just do not understand why the water termperature on the Jandy PDA remote will not display.
Did you find a resolution to this problem ?
